What is Dermaplaning?
A simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the skin and ridding the skin of it’s fine vellus hair (peach fuzz), and because it’s a fairly quick procedure with little or no down time it’s gaining popularity very quickly. Your skin will be left smooth, bright, deeply cleansed, hydrated and fluff free! Your make will glide on the following day, or even better, you may feel that your skin is so great you’ll be make up free for a while (no bad thing, and that’s coming from me – a make up artist!)
What happens in the treatment?
I’ll start by double cleansing with the Dermaplane Uk products, then start the procedure which involves gently gliding over the skin with a blade, then I’ll follow this with a super hydrating mask to ensure your skin is glowing at the end.
Will the fine facial hair grow back stubbly?
NO!! And I can vouch for this, having had the treatment done a couple of times by the talented Claire Austin-Rattenbury. The hair is a vellus hair and it’s physiologically impossible to change the structure of that hair just by using a blade to remove it. If it was a terminal hair (e.g. strong, course hair like eyebrow hair) that would be different.

The treatment takes 1 hour and is £50. I’m extending my March introductory offer of £40 up to the end of April so book in now.
